Hands-on cooking and nutrition education for kids, parents, schools, and communities.

That Grows

Teaching the Language of Food
This program is for those who are done chasing diets and ready to build a foundation rooted in clarity, confidence, and care.

Children learn how food connects to their bodies, energy, emotions, and environment — building understanding that supports lifelong health without fear, restriction, or shame.

We partner with brands, farms, schools, and organizations who believe that nourishing food is a right, not a privilege — and that children deserve to learn the language of food early, with care and integrity.
If your work aligns with education, wellness, sustainability, or community health, we’d love to explore how we can create impact together.

Most of us were never taught how to understand food in relationship to our bodies, our biology, or our basic needs. In a world full of rules, busy schedules and opinions, we lost connection to what nourishment actually feels like.
Through education, cooking, and embodied learning, Eat Pretty Please helps people reconnect — to food as medicine, to the body’s natural intelligence, and to the understanding that our needs are valid, worthy, and meant to be met.
This work began as a personal journey of healing for me and my children. It has grown into a movement rooted in the belief that nourishment is not a trend, a privilege, or a performance — it is a foundation for health, dignity, and self-trust.

The health of children in the U.S. is facing a significant crisis. Nearly 1 in 5 American children and teens (ages 2-19) are affected by obesity, a rate that has sharply increased and disproportionately impacts certain communities.
Beyond weight, 45% of U.S. children now live with chronic illnesses, including Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular risk factors, directly linked to diet. Poor nutrition also fuels mental health challenges.

Eat Pretty Please was shaped through lived experience, as a parent, a cook, and an educator navigating food in a world full of noise.
What began as a personal healing journey for me and my children grew into a deeper understanding of how food education can restore confidence, connection, and trust in the body.
This work is guided by care, curiosity, and a belief that when people understand their bodies and their needs, they begin to move through life with more clarity and self-respect.
I created Eat Pretty Please to make that understanding accessible, for families, children, and communities alike.
