Nourishing Connections,

body, mind & spirit.

We believe that the kitchen is the heart of the home—a classroom

for life skills, a laboratory for curiosity, and a sanctuary

for connection.

Our Mission

Our mission at Eat Pretty Please is to transform how families approach food. We empower parents and children to rediscover the joy of cooking and eating together.

Through hands-on experiences, we build confidence, strengthen family bonds, and create profoundly connecting moments that nourish not just bodies, but spirits too.

Meet the Founder

Eat Pretty Please was founded by Monica Hidalgo

— a professionally trained chef, nutrition educator, & mother — with a deep belief that food can be a bridge to confidence, connection, and healing.

With a background in culinary arts and years of experience working with families and children, Monica created Eat Pretty Please to reimagine the kitchen as a place of curiosity rather than pressure, joy rather than perfection.

As a parent herself, she understands the real challenges families face around food — picky eating, time constraints, cultural identity, and the emotional weight food can carry.

Eat Pretty Please was born from a desire to bring relief, creativity, and nourishment back into everyday life.

The Eating Pretty Philosophy

The kitchen, to Eat Pretty Please, is the vibrant heart of the home – a canvas for connection and a classroom where magic unfolds. In a world of endless directions and digital technology, we are here to nurture real interactions between parents and children, passionately helping them rediscover the playfulness and deep nourishment of making food together. We make healthy eating a joyful dance of colors and flavors.

Through hands-on discovery and creative culinary experiences, we empower families to embrace a confident curiosity about food, transforming simple ingredients into moments of profound connection, boundless creativity, and lasting wellness. It's where true nourishment and a fresh appreciation for food effortlessly adapt to daily life, forging lifelong memories and a resilient foundation for a vibrant future, ensuring their well-being thrives beyond the common concerns of our modern age.

This is all guided by the belief that every bite is an invitation to learn, grow, and laugh, born from a place of genuine love.
